Social Events Dr. Chad Rodgers, PCMS Liaison Committee Chair, coordinated a spring Physician Orientation Reception at Trio’s Restaurant in March 2005. The annual PCMS Summer Social was held at Milford Track in July. PCMS Medical Student Alliance Littman Cardiology stethoscopes were presented to incoming freshmen medical students, with ties to Pulaski County, at an August luncheon on the UAMS campus. Annual Membership Meeting Attendance at the PCMS Annual Meeting was at all-time high when Dr. James Headstream and Dr. Joseph Calhoun were presented with the 2005 President’s Award during the 2005 annual business meeting. A silent auction raised $5,500 for The Centers for Youth & Families. Guest speaker was Scott Smith, AMS Lobbyist. |
